Established in 1995, Planeta Forte Ltd. is the leader in the press distribution market of Georgia. LC purchased the control stake in Planeta Forte (51%) in late 2007.

The company owns 47 newspaper kiosks located in various parts of Tbilisi, with the further plan for opening 120 more kiosks on high-traffic streets and indoor locations in the Capital.

Planeta Forte’s kiosks stand out with modern design and offer a wide range of Georgian, Russian and foreign press. In addition to distributing 40 local and 40 foreign newspapers and magazines, the company sells additional goods such as stationery, cigarettes and candies. The company intends to expand non-print assortment, operate outdoor advertising faces and rent out space for ATMs and payment terminals.
